It is finer and airier than the Riesling Trocken and has integrated herbal aromas to the delicate fruit that also comes rather tropical yet in a finer, more discreet way, rather more of an idea than real. Juicy, refined and very elegant on the palate, this is far from being austere but with the character of the lower Nahe. The finish is tight yet also fruity and juicy and not just fruity but still savory, firm, minerally and long.
